Yes if there is a slot open. (a.k.a. Someone failed a human transmutation recently.)

When people die... they go to "The Other Side" And yea, you won't die too often.

Also in the show, human transmutation never..worked so does that mean it can only really work if you have the philosophers' stone in game too?

Technically it works only if you sacrifice more than equivalent exchange requieres youll just lose your body and end up in a metal body or with a metal arm. Philosopher stone lets you make anything out of nothing, so equavalent exchange isn't even a factor. lol

Yeah, and Human Transmutation can work without the Philosopher's Stone, as Ed sacrificed himself and he's experiences with Al and succeeded in bringing Al back in his original form.(Though that never really happened in the manga.)

They were trying to bring back their mom right? It took all of Al's body and Ed's leg or something. And it still failed. Al's body was GONE. But his soul was still their so he sacrficed a arm and didn't bring him back exactly or "revive" him or even use human transmutation he just binded his soul to armor. But their "human transmutation" to bring back their mother failed.

Rihatsu. At the end of the Anime, Ed sacrificed his Body and he's experiences with Al to bring back Al, which cuased Al to come back with his real body the way it was before the Human Transmutation, and he had no memory of everything that happened ever since.
